1. What are the different types of Visas for Kenya?
There are different types of Visas like Tourist, Business, Transit, Work Permit visa etc. depending upon your purpose of travel.

2. Is personal presence mandatory for visa submission?
No as of now there is no requirement of personal presence of Applicant for visa submission as there is no Biometrics process implemented by Kenya High Commission. Either Applicant can submit his application on his own or he can authorize any other Person / Travel Agent to submit his application on his behalf by giving Authority Letter.
3. What is a standard processing time for Visa?
Processing Time will differ from Category to Category but Generally Tourist & Business visa takes around 4 to 5 working days’ time after submission. This will depend on discretion of High Commission.
4. Is Prior Appointment is required for submission at Embassy?

8. What is Kenya E-Visa?
E-Visa is a tool provided by Kenya Immigration to upload all documents online & get the visa approval just a one click away without a requirement to submit any physical documents.
Some important Points related to E-Visa are as below
a) - There are 3 types of Kenya E-Visas are available like Single Entry Visa issued for Tourism, Business or Medical Treatment, Transit Visa & Courtesy Visas issued to diplomatic & official passport holders
b) - Processing time for E-Visa is 2 working Days excluding Saturday, Sunday & any other Kenya Holidays
c) - E-Visa is generally issued for a period of 3 months, where duration of stay granted is for 90 days & it can be extended for a further period of 90 days, maximum one can stay for 180 days
9. What medical requirements are applicable for travel to Kenya?
a) Applicant has to carry an Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.
b) Applicant should have completed a full course of vaccination against Polio, preferably with Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), and should receive an additional dose of OPV at least six weeks before each international journey. The Validity of a full course of vaccination will be one year
