1. What are the different types of Visas for Australia?

4. Is Prior Appointment is required for submission at VFS?

Individual clients do not require a prior appointment to lodge their application at VFS Australia Visa Application Centers, they can go as walk in as per submission timings

5. Australia Visa Sticker Visa OR E – Visa?

Australia Visa is E-Visa i.e. it is not a Sticker visa endorsed on the passport, once decision is taken by Australian High Commission, E-Visa is mailed on Email ID which is mentioned on the visa form it can come on Applicant’s Mail ID or If you have authorized Third person to submit your application it can come on his ID as well.

6. Is it possible to apply for any other visa simultaneously along with Australia Visa, if I am travelling to multiple countries in one journey?

Yes It is possible, as when application is submitted for Australia visa, one need to carry Original Passport to VFS Center along with Notarized copy of all pages of Current passport & VFS staff will return Original passport to you on the same day & accept your application.
Hence when your Australian application is under process at VFS, as Original passport is with you, if you are travelling to multiple countries like New Zealand or Singapore etc., immediately on next day you can apply for another visa.

7. Is there any option of Express visa processing for Australia?

Yes Australian High Commission has started Priority (Fast Track) visa service for (Subclass 600) visa i.e. Business and Tourism purpose, where by paying additional charges implemented by VFS, one can avail this facility.
Under this option processing time taken for visa is generally 48 Working Hours once application reached to High Commission.

9. Do I need to undergo Health Examination / Chest X-Ray for applying Australia Visa?

Generally after you lodge your application, if You are required to undertake any Medical Examination / Chest X-Ray, you will be notified by Australian High Commission either on Applicant’s mail Id or on mail id of Your Authorized Person as to which tests need to be undertaken
In such case Applicant has to carry his passport copy, printout of mail received from High commission & approach to any nearby Panel Doctor appointed by Australian High Commission for carrying out such tests mentioned in the mail with prior appointment. Panel doctor will send Medical Report directly to High Commission & based on this High Commission will take decision on your visa application.
Generally, Applicants who are 75 Years & above need to undergo these tests & also need to provide Medical Insurance as well
