1. What are the different types of Visas for Turkey?

There are different types of Visas like Tourist, Business, Transit, Work Permit visa etc. depending upon your purpose of travel.

2. Is personal presence mandatory for visa submission?

No as of now there is no requirement of personal presence of Applicant for visa submission as there is no Biometrics process implemented by Turkish embassy /consulate. Either Applicant can submit his application on his own or he can authorize any other Person / Travel Agent to submit his application on his behalf by giving Authority Letter.

3. What is a standard processing time for Visa?

Processing Time will differ from the place of location
For Mumbai & Delhi Jurisdiction - 5 to 6 working Days
For Hyderabad Jurisdiction - 8 to 9 working Days

4. Is Prior Appointment is required for submission at VFS?

No prior appointment is required, if it is necessary, chillontrip Visa Team will take care of the same.

5. Turkey Visa Sticker Visa OR E – Visa?

Turkey Visa is a sticker visa endorsed on the passport but if you fulfill some criteria, you can opt for E-Visa as well.

6. Is it possible to apply for any other visa simultaneously along with Turkey Visa, if I am travelling to multiple countries in one journey?

Ideally it being a Sticker visa, it is not possible but if you qualify for e-Visa then you can do so & save time.

8. What is Turkey E-Visa?

E-Visa is a tool provided by Turkish Immigration to Indian passport holder who are in possession of valid multiple entry visa issued by either USA, United Kingdom, Schengen countries or Ireland & get the visa approval just a one click away without a requirement to submit any physical documents.

Some important Points related to E-Visa are as below
1. Visa will be valid for a period of 6 months from the date of Travel
2. One can stay for a period of 30 days in Turkey
3. It is a Single entry visa
4. It can be used either for Tourism or Business purpose.
5. Eligible visa should be valid for your entire stay in Turkey

9. Can I apply for Visa through any Turkey VFS Center?

Consulate/Embassy of Turkey follow Visa Jurisdiction (Geographical Coverage of each Consulate), Place of Residence of Applicant continuously for last 6 months will decide his jurisdiction for Visa & then accordingly he has to apply for visa to respective VFS Center falling under his jurisdiction.

10. What is the process for collection of passports?

Either the applicant can go personally for collection or can authorize his visa agent to collect passport on his behalf or can opt for courier option to get passport delivered either at his residence or Office address.
